Research thesis :\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

During the first year of the master\u2019s program, all students have to write a research thesis (or a\u00a0Bachelorarbeit<\/em>\u00a0for FIFA students).<\/p>

Here are some examples of recent research thesis written by students at Sciences Po Lille.<\/p>

  • The Interactions between the European Union and NATO: towards more cooperation in Northern Europe? An analysis of the impact of Finland’s and Sweden’s NATO membership on EU-NATO inter-organizational interactions.<\/li>
  • Migration on the Periphery : Political Economy and Alternative Governance on the Colombian Side of the Dari\u00e9n Gap<\/li>
  • Micro-processing export-controls : the Japanese semiconductor industry’s attempt to reconcile domestic capabilities with an increasingly securitised international setting<\/li>
  • The Rise of AI Integration within Military Technologies : AI in warfare: unravelling its evolution, harnessing opportunities and risks, exploring legal obstacles<\/li>
  • M\u0101ori Foreign Policy: A Unique Case of Indigenous Diplomacy<\/li>

    \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>

    Internship or Research track (S4)\u00a0:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

    As part of the MTG master\u2019s program, students must complete a\u00a0six-month end-of-studies internship\u00a0during\u00a0semester 4, in France or abroad, or choose the Research track option.<\/p>

    • The end-of-studies internship\u00a0is an integral part of the Master 2 program and is worth\u00a030 ECTS credits. It may begin as early as January and end no later than September 30 of the current year, with a maximum duration of\u00a0six months.<\/li><\/ul>

      The internship is evaluated by the host organization and requires an internship report, and possibly a defense at Sciences Po Lille.<\/p>

      • Students who choose the research track can either remain at SPL, conduct field research, or work in an external research unit.<\/li><\/ul>
