General overview<\/b><\/h2>\n

The Multilateralism and Transnational Governance<\/i> (MTG) master\u2019s program, taught entirely in English, provides a critical analysis of the current transformations in multilateralism and transnational governance. In the context of profound transformation in the international system, the MTG master\u2019s program aims to rethink the role of cooperation and multilateralism in defining the main orientations of the contemporary world. It is based on the following key elements: <\/p>\n

\u00b7 A sociological approach to international relations and the governance of international organizations (intergovernmental, regional, hybrid, etc.),<\/p>\n

\u00b7 A geographical approach taking into account both European issues and those of other continental or maritime areas,<\/p>\n

\u00b7 An approach focusing on issues of regulation and governance (digital, environment, health, migration, etc.).<\/p>\n

The MTG master’s program benefits from Lille\u2019s proximity to four major European capitals, headquarters of international organizations and global economic regulators: Brussels (EU, NATO); Paris (European Banking Authority, IMF European Office, OECD, World Organisation for Animal Health, UNESCO); London (International Maritime Organization, Commonwealth of Nations); The Hague (ICC, ICJ). Lille is also located in a region that is home to an EU agency (EU Railway Agency) and currently bidding to host the European Customs Agency.<\/p>\n
